The stress of Christmas, darker nights and colder days can leave us feeling run down and perhaps not functioning at our optimal best. I try to get away at this time of year and I feel extremely grateful to be writing this post from the warm island of Gili Trawanagan in Indonesia. I always struggle with the cold, so coming to work in Bali with Katie Holland on our first successful Kashtat Bedu retreat, has been truly fantastic. I have also been working on my recipe book, which is a complimentary mix of my favourite recipes, plus inspiring texts about my travels and things I have learnt and discovered on the way. The book will be released sometime in 2017, so keep a look out.
I am writing this blog to launch my new website Restore and Revive Retreats, bringing you a little light and the opportunity to look forward to in spring time and beyond, coming out from hibernation and finding a way to reenergise and cleanse your body.
My new venture boasts short weekend breaks in beautiful Devon, easy travelling from all over the UK, with the retreat venue, Embercombe being a short distance from the M5 motorway, yet offering fantastic scenery in luscious green countryside. In 2017 I am offering three chances to escape your busy hectic lifestyle for a weekend of pure self love and healing indulgence. I appreciate how life can get super busy, making it challenging to give ourselves the due care and attention we need and deserve. Hence wanting to bring a mini escape within easy distance to get to.
Restore and Revive Retreats start on a Friday evening and finish on Sunday afternoon, the weekend break offers a complimentary mix of yoga classes, pilates and barre/dance classes, fitness, sound and light healing, depending on which break you come to. There will also be plenty of time to relax, soak in the beautiful surroundings, walks and evenings together around bonfires, drumming circles and cacao ceremonies.
Our expert team are delighted to also offer personal healing treatments such as Angelic Reiki, Sound and light healing and 1:1 fitness and pilates classes.
You will be nourished from the inside out, with lovingly prepared plant based meals by Raw Happy chef, Tracy and on the March retreat Nafia Harding will be joining her. Organic and locally sourced produce is used where available, reducing our footprint on this precious planet.
So pop over to www.restoreandreviveretreats.co.uk to check out full details on each break with prices and information how to book. Any questions please get in touch and look out for the Special price deal being launched after Christmas.
Have a lovely festive season with your family and friends and find peace among the chaos where possible, even if that's taking 10 minutes out to read a book or go for a walk in nature. May 2017 be the best year yet!
